ECO-FRIENDLY WATER RECYCLING AND FILTRATION SYSTEM

Lotus has a goal of being as eco- friendly as possible to the environment in the design of their equipment and to this end has designed water recycling and filtration systems to suit the wash plants. These systems refine all the water that can be captured during the wash process back to potable process water entirely suitable for reuse in the wash process.

For plants where no chemicals are present a series of mechanical filtration systems along with bacteria sanitisation and chlorination dosing may be adequate. Where chemicals are used and are a part of the contaminated water a bio treatment plant is also required to remove the chemical residue.

Incoming mains water is also treated to ensure that it is entirely suitable for the wash operation in some cases demineralisation and water softening are required.

Where possible additional water is collected on site and stored such as from building roofs, hard ground surfaces aquifer water etc to reduce the need to use supplied treated mains water.

Each wash plant application is evaluated and specialised filtration systems are custom built to ensure the highest standard of recycled water is achieved.
